Jon Bergmeier: u need a hobbie
Loriann Carrigan: I dont think you could teach it tricks but you could probibly hand or finger feed it and make it follow your finger round the tank.
Hollis Demasters: people have taught bettas to do tricks like swim through a hoop and stuff like that. some of mine will jump for food -- usually the ones that are jumpy already. more docile ones don't care that much. all you need are tweezers and bloodworms and your betta will be jumping in no time.
Perry Deshazior: I had a fish and I used to tap my finger on the glass right before I fed it. Then the fish got used to swimming to my finger and would do it even if I hadn't tapped the glass.
Tricia Dossous: You can put couple of dividers with a precut ring in different areas and let it go through it like if its a maze and rearange it and to see how smart it will get.
Misty Vagle: Yes, it's possible. To learn how, go tohttp://www.fish-school.comhttp://www.bettyspl! endens.com/articles/page.imp?ar...http://aquaristea.tripod.com/id16.htmlhttp://www.artsci.gmcc.ab.ca/people/powellr/betta....Good luck....Show more
German Thal: Betta fish donât actually perform tricks in the sense that they are taught to react to a signal like a dog does. Their brains are very simple and these fish act primarily on instinct. You can make it appear that your fish is performing a trick. For example, you can hold fish food just above the waterâs surface and your betta may jump up to eat it. You are not actually teaching the betta anything. It is simply doing what would come naturally in the wild. The fish sees the food hovering above the water and leaps for it instinctively. You arenât really teaching it to do anything that it wouldnât already do on its own....Show more
