In this partial sentence does the period go outside of the quotation marks or inside?

Sonya Volcko: You only put the period inside the quotation marks if the entire sentence is a quote. If you are quoting a phrase within a sentence, as you are here, you end the quote and then end the sentence.

Dionna Doyel: Commas and periods go Inside the quotation mark. Question marks and ! go outside the quotation mark.

Voncile Slaubaugh: the rule is if its shorter than the letters it goes inside thats all i remember but there are more rules to symbols that go above the text

Glynda Darrin: out side!!! my teacher drilled us with that!

Clifford Gombos: you better be right

Rosalyn Olivera: who the hell am I supposed to believe???
