Pro-lifers of R

Pro-lifers of R

answers 0:choices as per https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20150... , I'm having trouble posting this today. Short version, chose between 1. legal abortion, and no increase in welfare, or 2. no legal abortion except for special circumstances, but very generous welfare if you have kidsanswers 1:Pro-lifers: please assume this is an *either or* choice. You can't chose "if you get pregnant with a child you can't afford, then it sucks to be you", just either "You can have an abortion" or "If you have kids and are poor, we'll make sure you have enough money to take care of your kids."answers 2:2. Abortion is evil.answers 3:There's no way to justify not protecting life. The only case in which abortion should be legal is when the mother would die without one.Define what is "generous" welfare. As in, socialist? Even then, as a Re! publican, I would NEVER support someone who believes that murder is justifiable. The innocent child should not pay for the crimes of the father. Less than 1% of abortions are performed due to rape anyway.A woman has rights over her body, but once she's pregnant, there is another one inside of her. One that is innocently dependent.Abortion is the tool of gender genocide. Pro-choice "feminists" sure seem to skip over that fact, huh? 200 million girls don't exist in the world because of that. Abortion masks the real issues of society. I'll let you think about that.Did you know that over 10 million couples would consider adoption of they thought that the option was realistic?Go ahead, research this topic. You'll find out some things that will make you cringe constantly....answers 4:I've noticed that, disproportionately (though not exclusively), those against legal abortion are also against welfare, or at least in favor of limiting it more than it presently is. So, I was wonderin! g something. If you had to chose *only* between these 2, pro-li! fers, which would you chose?1. Abortion is legal, and available essentially without restrictions at least until late in the second trimester. Welfare and/or social assistance for poor families is as it presently is, or reduced....answers 5:I'd hand out condoms and smack the hell out of anyone stupid enough to believe the magic monster in the sky wants them to not use them. Those 2 options are silly and don't address the problem. Anyone truly interested in reducing the number of abortions would be for improving sex education, handing out condoms. I'm not for giving idiots an incentive to procreate unchecked....answers 6:morality can't be legislated.people need to lose the desire to terminate pregnancies.answers 7:2. Abortion's illegal, except for rape, medical necessity, etc. Social welfare programs for poor families and/or single mothers are fairly generous, explicitly including free or reduced price child care for anyone who needs it, payments equivalent to those given to! foster parents for all children in any family below 200% of the poverty line (tapering off above that point), and free medical care for poor children and pregnant women (including dental and vision for the children)...answers 8:I think the idea is that no one should be allowed to have fun and not be punished. You forgot to mention that they are also against sex education and birth control. When one considers it though, it is their children that are getting pregnant. Ignorance no birth control = teen prenancy.answers 9:Anyone pro-choice that's reading this, feel free to comment on whether you think generous welfare as in option 2 would reduce abortion rates significantly, and/or whether there are any restrictions on abortion you would accept if sufficiently generous welfare was in place. (I know many pro-choice people would pick 1 over 2, of course)
