is there a company that pays you to replace your garden with a dry garden?

Debora Soliani: Check with your City Hall or Utilities Company. Each state is different.

Ambrose Mumma: yes depending on where you live.obviously water is something our species needs and is cherished especially clean fresh water. in places where fresh water is depleting they most likely will have a company that pays you to replace your garden with a dry garden. as water source for that state/area is obviously more valuable then the money being paid from your house. in the end if that continues they would have to waste more money in general to get water else where.their was a video on youtube about some guy saying how in Vegas they pay people to build dry gardens rather then a regular garden. and he showed neighbors houses they were ALL dry gardens.here in Hawaii theirs lots of fresh water it's not really a problem plus we have the rains every single day so nothing to worry about when it comes to a green garden...Show more

Corrinne Ruozzo: No...why would they?! Unless you own an acre of a garden, the costs of watering it are minimal, not to mention an artificial garden would be most costly to the environment and to their wallets. Their are programs to help manage water or convert agricultural land to protected areas, but not individual gardens. There's no point in that.
