Demetrius Coaster: Assuming that you have a visa to work, you are not required to present the EAD card to a Homeland Security officer. You can go on www.uscis.gov and fill out /print the I-765 to renew your card.
Eva Lichlyter: You will be showing either a visa, greencard or Advance Parole if you are still in the process of Adjusting your status to be admitted back here in the US.Your Employment Authorization is only as far employment is concerned here and not for travelling outside the US.
Rashad Marecki: You need visa, not employment card to enter US. At US port, they only look for a valid visa in your passport.
